Subject: RE: III's R2011 upgrade

The proposed new III R2011 upgrade is still scheduled for tomorrow night, Wednesday February 8^th.  As usual, please remember to close all Millennium clients before you leave for the day on Wednesday.

We will be temporarily changing the time the III backups start tomorrow night.  Normally backup starts at 10PM.  We will be changing Wednesday night’s backup to 9:00 PM on both servers so be sure that you are out of Millennium and that any reports set to run will finish by this time.

The WebPAC and Encore will be available up until the time we have to shut down the servers and restart them, usually a fairly short window of time; this should occur sometime between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM.

We will notify you by email early Thursday morning when the upgrade has been completed. You may be prompted to download new JAR files the first time you start the Millennium clients and it is OK to do so. 

If you notice unexpected behavior after the upgrade, please report it to the IT HelpDesk at 832-393-1570 as soon as possible.
