Hello all.

 

This is a reminder to all that no one should place a hold on an ILL item record in Millennium.  When an item is borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, the item record is automatically created when the item is received.  When the customer finishes using the item and it is returned, the item record and the bib are deleted from the III system.  Other customers wishing to borrow these titles should be referred to the Interlibrary Loan request link from the HPL webpage.  The Interlibrary Loan Department will ensure that a new request is sent out for the item.  Staff are not to place additional holds on bib records for ILL items in Millennium.
