We are hosting Interview Seminars to help staff better prepare for job interviews as new promotional opportunities become available.  Get tips on interviewing and applying for jobs with Houston Public Library.  There are two Interview Seminars scheduled at this time:

Friday, November 30, 2012, 8:30am-10:30am at Oak Forest Neighborhood Library, 1349 West 43^rd Street, 77018

Monday, December 3, 2012, 9:30am-11:30am at Stella Link Neighborhood Library, 7405 Stella Link, 77025

If you need assistance writing a resume, Drop-In Resume Labs are available in the Central Library Concourse Computer Lab:

Monday November 26th | 2 PM - 4 PM

Tuesday November 27th | 2 PM - 4 PM

Wednesday November 28th | 10 AM - 12 PM

Thursday November 29th | 10 AM - 12 PM

Please make sure to get your supervisor’s approval to attend.  If you are attending an Interview Seminar, please RSVP to HPL Training so we can be sure to have enough materials to distribute during the session. There are also FREE online courses from Ed2Go and career resources and resume help from Brainfuse Adult Learning Center.
