Dear HPL:
The City of Houston has issued a Hazardous Weather ALERT.
The National Weather Service is anticipating severe weather for The City of Houston and surrounding areas on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  This storm is predicted to bring 2-3 inches of rain, with a potential for 4-7inches in isolated areas. This biggest threat is damaging winds, flooding in low lying areas and the possibility of tornados.
Safety should be foremost in our decisions.  Please keep in touch with your supervisor and co-workers to report any situations. Please monitor the news to avoid flooded areas and  use caution when commuting to work.  Supervisors, please call or email Karrington Burnett (832-393-1374) regarding any facility damage or concerns
.
The Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as warranted.   We will continue to update the HPL Emergency Hotline 832-393-1550.

Sincerely,
Greg
