A question has been raised recently concerning public terminal filters.
If staff has the unfortunate luck of coming across a “ bad page” (possibly pornographic site)on a public terminal PLEASE report the incident to comment@halan.lib.tx.us or Zerkow, Syma - HPL . If you believe a public terminal’s filter is not working try megaproxy.com, if you see the stop sign, the filter is OK; if you see the site, contact the HPL IT HelpDesk. When reporting the problem to the helpdesk please have the website address available and if possible a screen capture image to send the Helpdesk.
