Turn off all non essential lights tonight and through this weekend

Dear HPL,

On behalf of the Library Director, Dr. Rhea Brown Lawson, please turn off non essential lights in your building tonight.  All non essential lights need to be turned off by 10 pm tonight. This does not include security lights or occupied offices.  Please continue to keep non essential lights off through the weekend.  The operators of over 154,000,000 square feet of space have pledged to participate in this event, including City of Houston, Harris County, HISD, Humble ISD, CBRE, Transwestern, Hines, Brookfield, Crescent, Granite Properties, New Qwest, University of Houston and Lone Star College among others.

There will be a photo taken of downtown from the Federal Reserve Building at 10 pm tonight and all City buildings should be dark for this photo.
