Happy New Year!
The new year means tax season will be here soon. We have begun to receive tax forms at Blue Ridge, which supplies forms to Vinson, as well as to our friends at Bracewell.
I have put out what we have so far on a table at Blue Ridge and in the book sale area at Vinson. So far, we have only received Publication 17, Form 2106, and Schedules B, C, E and EIC. The 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ forms and booklets will not be available till mid-January at the earliest.
Vinson will again be hosting AARP tax assistance on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in February. I happened to see Milton at CVS a few weeks ago and he is very excited to be coming back.
