2011 ONLINE W-2 REGISTRATION REMINDER

Dear City of Houston Employees:

As you know year end is fast approaching. This is a friendly reminder to all who did not have the opportunity to register for the online Automatic Data Processing (ADP) W-2 services last year. Please take advantage of this benefit that is offered to all City of Houston employees through ADP, our W-2 provider. This service offers online access to your 2009, 2010, and 2011 W-2 forms (available in January 2012) in 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The following are the steps to register on ADP W-2 Services:

1. Go to https://w2.adp.com or link to the W-2 Website via Kronos My Links menu.
2. Click “Register Now”
3. Enter the Registration Pass Code which is: COFHOUSTON-W2.
4. Enter your Name, Full Social Security Number, and Birth Date.
5. Select W-2 Services as the Service.
6. The following information is required:

• Employee ID #
• Company Code: V3C
• Employee permanent address Zip Code
• Tax Year: 2009

You will be prompted to complete a registration process during which you will select a unique password. Your password must contain between 8 to 20 characters and at least one alpha and one numeric character. Additionally, on step 5 above you will be assigned a system generated User ID. Please make note of your user ID.

Once you have completed the registration process, you should “Bookmark” or “Add to your Favorites” the new URL, https://w2.adp.com. Then login in with your user ID and new password and select Change Your Paperless Options, and follow steps to go paperless.

The deadline for registration for using the paperless option for your W-2 is December 31, 2011.
