Boxes for the Friends

Subject: Boxes for the Friends

 

The Friends have requested that, as much as possible, we use the Better World boxes, the Baker & Taylor #20 boxes, or the boxes from the Supply Room when doing discards and donations.  As you go through donations from customers to select items for your local booksale, please take the time to place the unwanted items in one of these standard boxes.  If you receive boxes of donations that are in non-standard size boxes and do not want to review them, please stack these boxes separately from the standard ones so that FIDS can handle them separately.  We understand that space is limited and that may not always be possible.  Good news is that a new driver will be onboard shortly!

 

Also, the Friends’ Children’s Booksale is coming up September 21-22.  If you have any boxes of children’s materials ready for the Friends, please alert Belinda Cox in FIDS so that they can be delivered to the Friends as soon as possible.
