Hello Neighborhood Library Team members -
I want to thank you for all you do and the difference you make by serving our communities!
As you know providing exceptional customer service to all our customers is an expectation for all of us. We want to ensure our customers are greeted by friendly staff that specializes in smiles.
In the interest of providing that exceptional customer service, please look at your NL from the eyes of your customers by walking in from the main entrance once in a while. Do you see too many signs or signs that are taped on the walls, windows, doors, shelves, etc? Please work as a team with your colleagues to prioritize what signs are really needed and take down all taped up signs. We are looking for alternatives to display information without tape such as magnets, putty, and suction cup sign holders, etc. If you have any additional suggestions for tape alternatives, please share with your Team Leader.
Members of Customer Experience leadership team will be coming around to help as “tape consultants” to your locations. Please reach out to your Team Leader if you have any question or need assistance with the signage. We are asking that you remove all tape by Friday May 17th.
Please take some before and after pictures of the areas you worked on so we can all see what a difference one small step can make to make our neighborhood libraries more inviting and friendly. We look forward to seeing these pictures on your blog. Please let your Team Leader know if you have any question.
Thank you,
Shammi Gill
