Hi everyone,
As a general rule, customers should be signing themselves up for public computers.
If a customer forgets their password or is not sure how to create one, please let them do it. Do not do it for them. You may hand them the keyboard if you are doing it at the desk and ask them to make it what they want. I have had many customers say they didn't have a password or that a staff member had just signed them up. It may seem to be good customer service to do this, but in the long run, it just makes more work for us.
There are, of course, exceptions, but we should generally be helping the customers to be more self-sufficient.
Please see me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks,
John
