- Camp Stream Sign-up started Monday.  Only grades that have space are 6 - 8
and 9 - 12.
- Mayor’s policy about absenteeism and sick leave.  Please see Dr. Lawson’s email
to all employees dated May 3
- New Missing AV & Orphan Log for entire system to use. Can be found on
Intranet under Customer Experience, scroll down to bottom of page and it is
under Quick Downloads
- Now that Tiffany has left, Amanda will be filling in as the serials person and Marie
is the library card application person.
- Upcoming Programs: Fancy Nancy Tea Party- Saturday, May 19 10:30 - 12;
SRP Block Party- Monday, June 4 11:00; Juneteenth- Thursday, June 14 6:00 - 7:30;
Harry Potter Birthday Party, Tuesday, July 31 2:00
- New Books- how is the selection of books? Too much of somethings or not enough?
- New Shelf Reading Areas- I will send out the new assignments by Monday

Reminders:

- Blank yellow labels- they are just returns to Vinson and they need to be checked
in and put on the sorting carts
- New books need to be scanned twice. The first time it takes it out of the
“new” status, the second checkin makes it on shelf here.
- Please have customers pay their fines with credit cards on the self check machine.
- Please remember to check in everything from outside book drop, from the carts
and bins from the fronts and book drop in the workroom. We have had an uptick
in items still on customer’s accounts, items in transit being shelved, and
Central items being shelved.
- When doing paging list, please be sure to look at new books when looking for items.  
- We have had a number of new books made missing but they are on display.
- Books with the yellow spine labels are not put on the discard shelf. They need to be
sent into LMS with a flag saying they are a “subscription book that needs to
be discarded”.

- Update on volunteers: more expected for summer, unsure if we will receive interns,

Mr. Ng has added Friday to his schedule, can train interns to help with shelf reading

and other tasks
