Hi all,

 

In the next day or so, you will see some new material types in the catalog that should make it easier for staff and customers to search for

e-resource material.

 

We are finishing up the preparations to add two new material types - E-Video and E-Audiobook. They will display in the catalog limit "Material Type" near the existing E-Book mat type. 

 

We have had many requests from the public for a way to search for electronic material, such as just e-audiobooks, so the new material types should be very useful.

 

Once the new material type codes have been added into the WebPAC setup, we will update the appropriate bib records to their new formats - either E-Video or E-Audiobook.  Amber Seely has created two files for us to change the records to the new material types.

 

After the records have been updated, the new material type search limits will be functional.
