Hi everyone,
There are a few books in our collection that are a little quirky in how they are shelved. One of them is Beowulf. As you may know, it is an Anglo-Saxon epic poem written over a thousand years ago. The author's name has been lost to history. As such, it is shelved under "B" for Beowulf in the Classics area. There are many editors and translators who have published versions of it over the years, but they are not considered authors. As a general rule, if there is no author, a book in Classics is shelved by title.
If you are not certain about where a book belongs, please ask Craig, Laura, Lisa, or me.
Thanks,
John
